◆ Back ground

• l KDL (KUNI DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY) was established by the joint capital investment of 8 companies of the “KUNI GROUP” and the name KUNI of KDL is taken from this KUNI Group.
• l It was decided to change the company name because after 21 years the “KUNI GROUP” does not exist any more. For the expansion of the future business it was considered desirable to find a name that can be used widely in the world,
• l The new name was selected to be “Wave Technology” that expresses the company’s culture and climate, basic way of thinking (corporate mission) and technical potential in a well balanced way.

◆ Concept

1. Dynamic lively feeling

“Wave” means “the wave of the water”.

The “dynamism” that this image has is the corporate mission of Wave Technology.
We hope that Wave Technology Inc. is the company that keeps this dynamic lively feeling for ever.

2. The sharing of the emotional uplift and the sense of solidarity

In the dictionary, the meaning of “wave” is explained as follows.

2 To shake (hand or handkerchief); signal done by shaking hand
3 Wave, wave propagation (light, sound etc.)
4 Wave, upsurge of (emotion, business activity etc.); common feeling spread widely (opinion, tendency)

As is described above, we aim not only the simple wave but also to create the company having the feeling of solidarity that “resonates each other with the same goal” (imagine the wave that is created spontaneously by the sporting audience). In addition, we aim to resonate ourselves with the customer to achieve the same goal.

3. Technology that is based on the fundamentals of the physical phenomena

It is not necessary to exemplify that the famous physician de Bloglie said “all material is the wave” or “the wave equation of Schrödinger” but the wave concerns deeply the origin of the physical phenomena.
In addition, the electromagnetic wave is utilized widely as the communication medium represented by the microwave and optical frequencies.
Wave Technology Inc. will provide the essential technology to our client that is described by its name.

Using “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” of Hokusai Katsushika as the motif, expresses the dynamic feeling and strength with the growing wave from left to right. In addition, the mark consisting of three waves means the unity of the staff member and it designed the attitude of the staff member to join together to create the new technology.

<< Color concept >>
The corporate symbol images the sky and the sea that is filled with infinite possibility and arranged with the gradient of dark blue to light blue. The basic WT blue expresses the sea (wave), fineness and confidence.
